Start of a new blog

Well, so here I am. After working professionally over 5 years and 4 more as an engineer, I have finally decided to finally put in some effort into maintain a blog. I have been mulling over this for quite a while and finally bit the bullet.

I have tried starting a blog multiple times. Most of the times I have focused on a writing a type of blog like and software development blog but I soon realised that I wanted to write more of my thoughts than just programming tips. So, I purchased a non-bloggy domain and setup another blog. Yeah, I have another blog at https://cmdrgarud.blog/. Its a bit of a role playing blog so it might not be for everyone.

Also, I had to choose a CMS for writing my blog. Initially I had pretty much decided to go with wordpress but my years of great experience with ghost with my other blog made me make the switch. Things are much simpler and it makes it easier for me to focus on the content and not keep on making endless tweaks as I did with wordpress. Give ghost a try if you are looking for a no-frills CMS.

I think I have rambled along for long enough. Its time for me to get back to work. Do look forward for more blog posts. Until then, o7.
